Pour Over Brew Instructions

Prep Before You Brew


- Fold & Rinse Filter
- Place filter with triple fold side facing the spout.
- Discard rinse water carefully.
- Add Ground Coffee
- Use about 1g of coffee per 16g of water (e.g. 30g coffee for 480g water).

 Step-by-Step Brewing

 

  1. Pour 2x the coffee weight in hot water (e.g. 60g for 30g coffee).-

  2. Let it bloom for ~45 seconds to release trapped gases.

  3. Slow, Spiral Pour

  4. Begin pouring in slow concentric circles from the center outward.

  5.  Avoid the edges — that’s where channeling hides.

  6. Add water in stages until you reach your total brew weight.

  7. Let it Drip

  8. Brew should finish in 3.5–4.5 minutes depending on grind and dose.

  9. If it’s too fast, grind finer; too slow, grind coarser.
