 Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Fill the base with water
2.  Add water up to the safety valve — no higher!
3. Use hot water to reduce brewing time and minimize bitterness.
4.  Add coffee to the filter basket
5. Fill it with ground coffee, level it off, but don’t tamp it down.
6. Clean the rim of the basket for a proper seal.
7. Assemble your moka pot
8. Insert the basket into the base and screw the top on tightly.
9.  Place on medium heat
10. Keep the lid open so you can see when the coffee starts flowing.
11.  Watch for the magic
12.  Coffee will gurgle up — when it turns pale and bubbly, remove from heat.
13.  Close the lid and let it finish brewing off the burner.
